The City of Mirabel says it's in mourning after its mayor Patrick Charbonneau died seemingly of natural causes at 46 years of age.

In a statement posted to its website, the municipality, just northwest of Montreal in the Laurentians region, expressed its condolences to Charbonneau's friends and family, adding that flags on municipal buildings will fly at half-mast.
